For whatever reason, only God and, perhaps this 45 foot long gray whale, knows why it swam several miles up the Klamath River off the coast of California. It originally arrived about 6 weeks ago along with it\'s calf. Whale lovers & scientists attempted to frighten the two whales back down river to the ocean and untimately, it appears, they have only been able to separate the two and the calf has swam back to the ocean while the cow whale remains. They, and now she causes quite the tourist attraction as she swimms up and down river a few hundreds yards with the Klamath River Bridge being her main area of concentration.
